Bruce Marks has been working at London GlassblowingStudio since 2003, as a blower and tutor of beginners and advanced classes, becoming their studio manager in 2010. In 2010, he also completed an MA in Contemporary Crafts. He has exhibited internationally during the past decade and is a member of the Glass Art Society, USA, Society of Designer Craftsman,UK, Contemporary Applied Arts,UK and the Contemporary Glass Society, UK.
Bruce won the silver award in the Craft&Design Selected National Awards 2009 and the Gold Award in the same category in 2014. He also has work in the public collection of the Turner Museum of Glass. The Bradfield House Glass Museum Stourbridge owns the glass baton Bruce made for the Glass Games 2012, to coincide with the Olympics, which toured to seven major venues around the UK. He has also created an installation of glass raindrops for the London Wildlife Trust, exhibited in their pop up garden at Trafalgar Square, London.
