Results of BDC Residency at the Royal Hospital go on permanent display

Written by Bluecoat Display Centre | Posted on: November 4, 2013

Bluecoat Display Centre worked in partnership with the Royal Liverpool Hospital Radiology Department as part of our Making an Impact project, to relieve stress and boredom in a waiting room environment.

Local artist Sian Hughes spent 4 weeks in the hospital, teaching techniques in cyanotypes. Patients were able to take part as and when they liked and could use their own personal items in the artwork.

The residency then went on to win an award for Staff Empowerment and Engagement.
