Brooch-Making 40s Style with Julie Arkell
Posted on the 13th January 2012Join celebrated artist Julie Arkell for a 40s-style brooch-making workshop taking place on Sunday the 25th of March from 12:30 - 4:30pm. Using a variety of materials including wool,scissors, tapestry needles, darning needles, cotton thread and coloured felt, inspired and guided by Julie, participants will make a vintage style brooch to take home by the end of the afternoon.
Tickets cost £25 (£22-50 conc.) and the workshop is limited to 15 participants, so please book your place in advance by phoning 0151 709 4014. Refreshments and materials will be provided.
This workshop coincides with a solo exhibition of Julie's work at the Display Centre which runs from 10th March until 5th May.
