Jewellery Workshop with Judith Brown

Jewellery Workshop with Judith Brown
Monday 4th October 2010 - Sunday 28th November

Make your own unique jewellery using items of haberdashery including hooks and eyes and more with local  jewellery maker, Judith Brown. No experience of jewellery making required, recommended minimum age 14.

The workshop will run on Sunday 28th November from 12.30 – 4pm. The workshop fee is £25 which includes all materials and refreshments, (£22.50 concessions). There is a maximum number of 10 places available for this workshop so do book early to avoid disappointment.

Judith Brown began making jewellery in 2004. Her individual style has developed following her studies of Fashion and Textiles, particularly Embroidery at Manchester Metropolitan University. “I have always worked with stitch and wanted to develop a way of working that would highlight the stitch itself. Working with fine wire rather than thread has enabled me to create forms which are intricate and hold their form over time, yet are still seemingly delicate.”
